Lifeboats tasked by Belfast Coastguard at 22:25 to a boat which had become stuck in weeds near Kinnego Marina.
Another boat, spotting the other boat in distress, went to help and also became stuck.
Kinnego and Ardboe lifeboats were tasked to help bring the vessels and passengers to safety.
Lifeboats then returned to station and were washed, refuelled and made ready for service.
