Lifeboats tasked by Belfast Coastguard at 16:30 to assist a vessel that had lost engine power west of Rams Island. In Force 3 south-easterly conditions, our lifeboats quickly launched and made their way to the scene.
Once it was confirmed that everyone on board was safe, our crews secured a tow line and brought the casualty vessel safely back to Kinnego Marina. We want to thank the Lough Neagh Coastguard Rescue Team for providing shore cover and for their assistance on arrival at Kinnego Marina.
