Today our Swiftwater Rescue Team was tasked to assist with an ongoing search operation in the Dromore area, working alongside partner agencies.
Sadly, the missing person was located by Sky Watch NI drone this afternoon. Our team, together with Community Rescue Service, assisted with the recovery from the water.
This is a deeply sad outcome, and our thoughts and sincere condolences are with the family and loved ones at this very difficult time.
We thank all agencies involved for their cooperation and professionalism throughout the operation.
