At approx 10:00 hrs HMCG paged LNR to a vessel in distress with engine trouble. Both Ardboe & Kinnego lifeboats were quickly launched. KILB tasked to Valiant RIB leaving Bannfoot area with engine difficulties and 3 POB, RIB crew resolved trouble themselves but was escorted back to Kinnego.

On 29/12/08 at 15.10 to a dinghy adrift. 10ft Plastimo RIB which was concealed on island with branches, in Kinnego Bay. 3 POB. KILB was back on station at 15.45

On 08/11/08 at 14.45 to a white rib “Osprey Ranger” which had lost power off Discovery Centre. KILB was tasked and the rib was brought back to Kinnego Marina.
